RAJSHAHI, Jan 10, 2026 (BSS)- Three extortionists, including notorious Chan 
Sawdagor, 45, were arrested in the city last night.

Police said Chan Sawdagor is a resident of Bilsimla area under Rajpara Police 
Station in the city. Two others are identified as Murad Ali, 28, and Muhammad 
Bidyuth, 37.

Abdul Maleque, officer-in-charge (OC) of Rajpara Police Station, told BSS 
that Bangladesh Army arrested the extortionists and handed over them to the 
police station this afternoon.

Huge lethal weapons were also recovered from their possession, he added.
