RAJSHAHI, Feb 9, 2026 (BSS)- Nazrul Studies Center has been established at Rajshahi University (RU) to promote institutional study of the life, works, and philosophy of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
 
Vice-Chancellor Professor Saleh Hasan Naqib formally inaugurated the center on Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium premises by releasing balloons and festoons this afternoon as the chief guest.
 
Pro-Vice-Chancellors Professor Mohammad Main Uddin and Professor Farid Uddin Khan, Treasurer Professor Matiar Rahman, Registrar Professor Iftikharul Alam Masud and Director of the center Professor Shamima Hamid were present on the occasion.
After the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor visited the temporary office of the Nazrul Studies Center and provided necessary guidance.
