RANGAMATI, Dec 11, 2025 (BSS)- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized huge quantity of Indian smuggled cigarettes from Bottoli Para area on the Borichari-Ghagra road in Kaptai upazila of the district last night.

On a tip-off, a team of BGB raided the area and seized 36,230 packets of Indian smuggled cigarettes worth about Taka 87.52 lakh, said a press release here today.

The seized cigarettes were handed over to concerned authority of customs.
