CHATTOGRAM, Dec 4, 2025 (BSS)- A doa mahfil was held in Banshkhali upazila of the district seeking the early recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. 

The programme was organised by the Pukuria Union unit of BNP and its front and associate organisations.

The doa mahfil was presided over by Sakhawat Zaman Dulal, founding president of Banshkhali Upazila unit of BNP. 

Mishkatul Islam Chowdhury (Pappa), BNP’s candidate for the Chattogram-16 parliamentary constituency and joint convener of the BNP South District unit, attended the event as the chief guest.

Former general secretary of Chattogram South District BNP Shahidul Islam Bulbul, Pukuria Union Parishad Chairman Ashhab Uddin, BNP leaders Delwar Azim, Fazlul Kader and Professor Mubinul Haque, were present as special guests, among others, on the occasion.

A large number of leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies, along with general people, took part in the doa mahfil.

The BNP Media Cell said similar doa programmes are being organised across the country for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia.
