RANGAMATI, Dec 1, 2025 (BSS) – Advocate Dipen Dewan, the BNP candidate nominated for the Rangamati-299 constituency with the 'Paddy Sheaf' symbol today said that BNP does politics for the welfare of the people.
“If elected in the next national parliamentary election, I will transform the hilly areas into a district of harmony. If BNP comes to power, development works will be carried out in every region of the Chittagong Hill Tracts,” he said.
The candidate said this while speaking at a view-exchange meeting organized by Subhalong and Barkal union BNP units at Kurakti Bazar ground.
Barkal union BNP general secretary Abdul Jalil chaired the meeting while BNP Tribal Affairs joint secretary Colonel (retd) Manish Dewan, District BNP general secretary Advocate Mamunur Rashid Mamun, vice president Saiful Islam Chowdhury Bhutto, vice president Saiful Islam Panir, organizing secretary Saiful Islam Shakil, joint secretary Mojibul Hall, tribal affairs secretary Ronel Dewan, volunteer affairs secretary Md. Bachchu Mia, district chhatra dal president Faruk Ahmed Sabbir and former convener of Rangamati Government College Chhatra Dal Al Amin, among others, were present at the event.
After the meeting, he carried out campaign in various areas of the upazila.
