NATORE, March 17, 2024 (BSS) - The 104th birth anniversary of Father of the 
Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children Day was 
celebrated in the town today.

To mark the day, the national flag was hoisted atop all buildings of 
government, semi government, autonomous and private organizations as well as 
all educational institutions in the town early morning. Floral wreaths were 
also placed at the portrait of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Collectorate Building 
premises.

On the occasion, a discussion was held at Anima Chowdhury auditorium in the 
town with Deputy Commissioner Abu Naser Bhuiyan in the chair while lawmaker 
Shafiqul Islam Shimul addressed the discussion as the chief guest.

Police Supers Md Tariqul Islam and Sharif Uddin (PBI), district unit Awami 
League President Advocate Md Sirajul Islam and its General Secretary Md 
Shariful Islam also spoke on Bangabandhu's life and works, among others.
