DHAKA, Sept 2, 2026 (BSS) - The government today appointed Md Quamruzzaman Chowdhury, secretary (contractual) of the Medical Education and Family Welfare Division, as the new secretary of the Public Administration Ministry.

The Public Administration Ministry issued two separate notifications in this regard, signed by Deputy Secretary Jati Prue.

In a separate notification, secretary (contractual) of the Public Administration Ministry Md Ehsanul Hoque was appointed as a member (senior secretary, contractual) of the Planning Commission.

The orders, issued in the public interest will take effect immediately, according to the notifications.
