DHAKA, March 25, 2026 (BSS) — An ‘Eid Reunion’ was held at the River Police Headquarters in Dhaka today, marking the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr-2026.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of River Police, Md. Mizanur Rahman, (Admin and Finance), attended the programme as the chief guest. 

In his speech, he expressed gratitude to all members for their dedication in ensuring the security of waterways, particularly during the Eid travel period when thousands of people journey to their hometowns.

He also exchanged Eid greetings with police officers of all ranks and civil staff working at the River Police Headquarters and conveyed his best wishes for the post-Eid period.

The event was attended by Additional DIGs, Superintendents of Police, Additional Superintendents, Police Inspectors, and other members of the Naval Police, making it a warm and engaging post-Eid gathering.
