DHAKA, Mar 15, 2026 (BSS)- Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) will arrange the central Eid Jamaat on the occasion of Holy Eid-ul-Fitr at 8 AM at the old trade fair ground adjacent to the China-Bangladesh Friendship Conference Center in Agargaon of the city.
 
A preparatory meeting for organizing the DNCC Central Eid Jamaat was held today at the conference room of the Dhaka North City Corporation. 

DNCC Administrator Md. Shafiqul Islam Khan presided over the meeting.

All necessary preparations are being taken to arrange the Eid Jamaat for the city dwellers in a disciplined and pleasant environment. There will be three entry points with a separate entrance arranged for women. Facilities for ablution (wazu) will be provided for the convenience of the worshippers.

To ensure law and order and security, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will deploy two platoons of police. Additionally, concerned agencies such as the traffic division, DPDC, and WASA will coordinate and perform their duties to ensure traffic management, electricity and water supply.

At the meeting, DNCC Administrator Md. Shafiqul Islam Khan instructed all concerned to properly discharge their assigned responsibilities and inform the city dwellers accordingly.

DNCC has invited all devout worshippers and city residents to participate in the central Eid Jamaat on Eid day.
