DHAKA, March 10, 2026 (BSS) - Private carrier US-Bangla Airlines will resume flights to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi this week, aiming to ease travel uncertainties faced by Bangladeshi expatriates in the Middle East ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to a press release issued by the airline, US-Bangla will resume flights to Sharjah from March 13 and to Abu Dhabi from March 14.

The move comes amid the evolving Middle East situation, which has created uncertainty for Bangladeshi expatriates, many of whom are eager to return home to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their families.

The airline said it will operate four weekly flights from Dhaka to Sharjah on Fridays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Flights from Dhaka to Sharjah will depart at 8:45 pm, while the return flight from Sharjah to Dhaka will leave at 1:30 am local time.

US-Bangla will also operate three weekly flights from Dhaka to Abu Dhabi on Saturdays, Mondays and Thursdays.

Flights to Abu Dhabi will depart directly from Dhaka at 5:50 pm on Saturdays and Thursdays, while the Monday flight will depart at 3:55 pm via Chattogram.

Additionally, a direct flight from Chattogram to Abu Dhabi will depart every Monday at 5:50 pm, while the return flight from Abu Dhabi to Dhaka will leave at 10:10 pm local time.

Flights on the Sharjah and Abu Dhabi routes will be operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the airline said.

US-Bangla currently operates a fleet of 25 aircraft, including three Airbus A330-300 wide-body aircraft with 436 seats and nine Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 189 seats.

The airline continues to operate daily flights on the Dhaka-Dubai route and also serves major Middle Eastern destinations including Jeddah, Riyadh and Muscat.

US-Bangla said it also plans to resume flights on the Dhaka-Doha route in the near future.
