DHAKA, March 8, 2026 (BSS) - The Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) observed International Women's Day 2026 today with the theme 'Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls'.

To mark the occasion, a discussion meeting was held at PKSF Bhaban-1 in Agargaon, Dhaka. The event was presided over by Zakir Ahmed Khan, chairman of PKSF, Md Fazlul Kader, managing director of PKSF spoke on the occasion while Md Mesbahur Rahman, its general manager delivered the welcome remarks.

PKSF's Manager Mahmuda Morshed presented on rights and justice for women and girls. Another Manager Jesmin Ara gave a presentation on work environment for women while Anika Zaman Tasneem, deputy manager of PKSF, presented on the progress of underprivileged women and women entrepreneurs, said a press release.

In his speech, Managing Director (MD) Md Fazlul Kader emphasized on PKSF's commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and empowering women through its various developmental initiatives. Chairman Zakir Ahmed Khan concluded the session by reiterating the importance of collective action to ensure the protection of rights for every woman and girl.
