DHAKA, Jan 8, 2026 (BSS) – Biplobi Workers Party General Secretary Saiful Haque today strongly condemned and protested the killing of Azizur Rahman Musabbir, former General Secretary of Swechchhasebak Dal, Dhaka City North Metropolitan, who was shot dead by assailants last night in the capital.

In a statement, he urged the government to take immediate steps to arrest the killers and bring them under the law, and exemplary punishment of the culprits.

Saiful, also candidate for Dhaka-12 constituency for national election expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family of Musabbir and also called upon the people of Dhaka-12 constituency and leaders and activists of all organizations to keep patience.

Earlier this afternoon, he attended the namaz-e-janaza of the late Azizur Rahman Musabbir at Ambar Shah Shahi Mosque in Karwan Bazar here.
