DHAKA, Aug 18, 2026 (BSS) - The government has extended the contractual services of the Cabinet Division and Public Administration Ministry secretaries for one year.

Separate gazette notifications issued by the Public Administration Ministry today said Dr Nasimul Gani’s contractual appointment as secretary of the Cabinet Division has been renewed for one year from August 18 under Section 49 of the Public Service Act, 2018.

In another notification, the government extended and renewed the contractual service of M Ehsanul Huq for one year from the same date under the Public Service Act.
