DHAKA, Jan 8, 2026 (BSS) – Leaders of the Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal today paid homage to Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and late BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia by placing wreaths at their mausoleums.

The programme was held this afternoon at Zia Udyan in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, with the participation of more than 200 leaders and activists of the organisation.

They offered fateha and held doa and munajat, seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Saheed president Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

President of the Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal Central Committee, Agriculturist Hasan Zafir, led the programmes.

General Secretary Shahidul Islam Babul, along with other central and grassroots-level leaders of the organisation, was present on the occasion.
