DHAKA, Jan 5, 2026 (BSS) – The Dhaka University unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir today got a new executive committee for the 2026 session.

Members of the unit elected Md Mohiuddin Khan, former general secretary, as president through direct voting, while Ashiqur Rahman was elected secretary and Md Sajjad Hossain Khan organizational secretary.

The members’ assembly was held at the Shaheed Mahbubur Rahman Auditorium at 8 am, with central HRM secretary Saidul Islam conducting the session.

Central Shibir president Nurul Islam attended as the chief guest, while central publication secretary Abu Shadik Kayem was present as the special guest.

Nurul Islam declared Mohiuddin Khan as president and administered the oath to him.
