DHAKA, Dec 8, 2025 (BSS) - As part of the 16-day observance of the 
International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women 2025, the 
Ministry of Women and Children Affairs will organize the July Kanya 
Conference 2025 on December 10.

The event will take place at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium and will begin at 
10:00 am on Wednesday, said a press release.

Adviser to the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Sharmeen S Murshid is 
expected to attend the conference as the chief guest.

The event will also feature Adviser to the Ministry of Planning Wahiduddin 
Mahmud, Adviser to the Ministry of Education Professor Dr Chowdhury Rafiqul 
Abrar, and Adviser to the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Farida Akhtar 
as special guests.

The Ministry of Women and Children Affairs confirmed the information through 
an official letter.
