DHAKA, Nov 23, 2025 (BSS) – BNP Chairperson’s Adviser Zainul Abedin Farroque today said conspiracies about the forthcoming national elections would not yield any result.

“No conspiracy about the next parliamentary elections will bring any success,” he said.

He was speaking as chief guest at a discussion organized by Jatiya Bastuhara Dal at the Jatiya Press Club here.

Hinting at the conspiracy being hatched by different quarters to disrupt the law and order, the senior BNP leader said, “I am saying clearly whatever plots is now being hatched with the cohorts of the fascist Awami League will not be success.” 

Referring to the recent remarks made by the Chief Adviser that the election will be held in Bangladesh fairly, Farrroque said, “The election will be held without any disruption.” 

Coming down heavily on the activities of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, the BNP leader said Jamaat along with some other political parties are now plotting to thwart the upcoming general election. 

“You are plotting to disrupt elections with raising the demand of PR and referendum. But, the reality is that you will also take part in the upcoming election. What else you do with participating in the polls?, he questioned
Farroque said the next government under the dynamic leadership of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will establish an effective parliament, rule of law and independent judiciary and free press. 
The BNP leader has demanded execution of the verdict of the International Crimes Tribunal that sentenced Sheikh Hasina to death in a case of crimes against humanity for ordering crackdown on the student-led July Mass Uprising. 

“The verdict which was delivered must be executed,” he said. 

Bastuhara Dal President Sharif Ragib presided over the discussion while Joint Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Abdus Salam and Bastuhara Dal General Secretary, among others, spoke on the occasion.
