DHAKA, Nov 19, 2025 (BSS) – Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD)’s Dhaka University unit will organize Nabanna Utsab 1432, a traditional Bengali harvest celebration, on the premises of Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) on the campus at 3pm tomorrow. 

Dhaka University students will stage various cultural performances including dance, songs, and poetry recitation—as part of this traditional celebration.

 Special attraction of the celebration is performances of the renowned Baul artist Chishti Baul, singers Akash Goyen, Farzana Afrin Eva, Abu Rashed, Palash, Robi . 

Rural traditional lathikhela (stick play) and various other cultural presentations will also be featured.

From the campus of the country’s highest seat of education—Dhaka University—this festival aims to showcase among all the traditional arts and culture of Bangladesh which forms the historical, cultural, and ethnic foundation of the nation, rooted in the heritage of rural farmers, labourers, and working people.
