No permanent political stability without July Charter implementation

RANGPUR, Nov 14, 2025 (BSS) - Leaders of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Rangpur Metropolitan unit have said that there will be no permanent political stability in the country without the implementation of the July Charter.
 
They said this at a protest march and rally organised by Rangpur Metropolitan Jamaat-e-Islami on five-point demands, including issuance of the July Charter implementation order and holding a referendum before the national elections on Friday afternoon. 

The protest march started from the Rangpur Public Library ground and circled around City Bazar, Paira Chattar, Jahaz Company Intersection and Grand Hotel Intersection before ending at the Shapla Chattar in the city. 'Later, leaders of the Metropolitan Jamaat-e-Islami addressed the rally held there. 

The entire area was filled with various slogans from the march, including 'A referendum must be held in November, must be held', 'The July Charter must be implemented, must be done', and five-point demands. '

Rangpur Metropolitan Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Vice-principal ATM Azam Khan, Secretary KM Anwarul Haque Kajal, Assistant Secretary Professor Raihan Siraji, Al Amin Hasan, Kotwali Thana Ameer Moulana Golam Kibria, Porshuram Thana Ameer Advocate Mahbub Alam, Tajhat Thana Ameer Maulana Rabiul Islam, Mahiganj Thana Ameer Shah Mohammad Mohsin, Kotwali Thana Secretary Jahangir Alam, Youth Division Secretary Farhad Hossain Mandal and many others addressed the rally. 

ATM Azam Khan said that the July National Charter is the only guide to the nation's liberation and justice. 
 
"Without the implementation of the July Charter, there will be no permanent political stability in the country. We demand that a state order be issued immediately to implement the July Charter," he said. 
 
He said a referendum must be arranged to verify the people's opinion before the next Jatiya Sangsad elections. The movement will continue until democracy is restored in the country, human rights are protected and the five-point demands are met. 
 
"Jamaat-e-Islami is playing a responsible role in establishing the people's voting rights and will continue to do so. The movement will be strengthened in every police station and every ward of Rangpur metropolis until the people's rights are realized," he said. 
 
Earlier, the party leaders in their speeches called on everyone to be ready for a tough movement at any time to fulfil the aspirations of the people of the country.
