DHAKA, Sept 02, 2026 (BSS): A decision has been taken to adjust the retail price of bottled soybean oil, fixing the new price at TK 204 per litre.

The decision was taken at a meeting between the Commerce Ministry and edible oil traders to review the latest market situation, including international edible oil prices and import costs.

Following the meeting, Commerce Secretary Md. Ataur Rahman Khan told a press conference at the Ministry of Commerce in the city that the decision was taken after reviewing the prevailing market situation and other relevant factors.

According to the decision, the new retail price of bottled soybean oil has been fixed at TK 204 per litre.
