DHAKA, Aug 28, 2026 (BSS) – Turkmenistan President Serder Berdimuhamedov has congratulated his counterpart Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on assuming the Office of the President here. 

President Berdimuhamedov conveyed greetings through a congratulatory letter issued from the Palace of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. 

In the message, the Turkmenistan President said, “I would like to extend to you my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes upon your election as the president of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.” 

“Availing myself of this pleasant opportunity, I sincerely wish you strong health, inexhaustible energy, as well as every success in all your endeavors for the progress and prosperity of the people of Bangladesh,” the letter reads.
