DHAKA, Jan 5, 2024 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Mahbubul

Alam Hanif today said that BNP is hatching conspiracy to foil polls on
January 7 through carrying out subversive activities.

"BNP is conspiring against the election and the party is discouraging people
not to go to voting centers through terrorist activities, he told a view-
exchange meeting with journalists at his own residence in Kushtia district.

Hanif said the key leaders and activities of BNP are not playing active role
in their anti-election movement.

BNP's movement means sabotage activities, and their movement is against the
country and its people, he said.

The countrymen are eagerly waiting to exercise their voting rights of
franchise on January 7, he added.

Replying to a question from journalists, Hanif said BNP is an isolated
political party, so the countrymen are not concerned about the party's
movement.
