JAMALPUR, Nov 29, 2023 (BSS)- Awami League (AL) Organising Secretary Mirza Azam, MP has said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina nominated skilled, sincere, honest and dynamic persons as the party candidates to compete in the 12th parliamentary election for continuing the ongoing development of the country.

He said this as the chief guest while exchanging views with the journalists at AL party office in the town on Tuesday night.

The lawmaker said versatile bureaucrat Md Abul Kalam Azad who contributed to various development works across the country got AL ticket for Jamalpur-5 constituency to contest next polls.

He urged all to elect Abul Kalam Azad in the upcoming general election for the augmentation of development of the country.

AL candidate Md Abul Kalam Azad in his speech said if he was voted to power, comprehensive developments in communication, health, education, agriculture and tourism will be done for his constituency to build smart Bangladesh.

District AL President Advocate Muhammad Baki Billah presided over the function while its General Secretary Bizan Kumar Chanda conducted it.
