Verma inaugurates new IVAC in Ctg

DHAKA, Nov 16, 2023 (BSS) - Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma today inaugurated the new Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) in the port city Chattogram.
 
The new center was shifted from Zakir Hossain Road to 1872 CDA Avenue at East Nasirabad to provide a state-of-the-art, aesthetic ambience for Bangladeshi Nationals applying for visa from Chattogram, a press release said. 

On the occasion, Verma Hoped that the new centre with an improved ambience would enhance ease and comfort of Indian Visa application process for residents of Chattogram.

Chattogram City Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, Assistant High Commissioner in Chattogram Dr Rajeev Ranjan and Country Head of SBI Bangladesh Operations Amit Kumar were also present during the ceremony.

State Bank of India, a Fortune 500 company and one of the leading Global Banks, is managing IVACs in Bangladesh on behalf of High Commission of India. 

IVAC Dhaka, situated at Jamuna Future Park, is the world's largest visa application centre.
