DHAKA, Nov 9, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League and its associate bodies today brought out protest processions and rallies against BNP-Jamaat's 48-hour blockade, terrorism and subversive activities in city's different areas.
 
Dhaka city south unit of AL, Awami Jubo League, Awami Swechchhasebak League and Awami Matsojibi League brought out a protest procession and rally in city's Bangabandhu Avenue and the processions paraded different street in the city.

Dhaka city south AL president Abu Ahmed Mannafi and its general secretary Humayun Kabir, Dhaka city AL former general secretary Shah-e-Alam Murad, joint general secretary Morshed Kamal, Swechchhasebak League president Gazi Mesbahul Hossain Sachu and its general secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu, among others, spoke it.
 
Dhaka city north unit of AL leaders and activists, led by its president Sheikh Bazlur Rahman and its general secretary S.M. Mannan Kochi, brought out a protest procession and rally in the city north different areas.
 
Wari Thana AL former president Chowdhury Asiqur Rahman Lavlu and its general secretary Abul Hossain and leaders and activities observed a sit-in programme in city's Joykali area.

Dhaka-5 constituency MP Kazi Monirul Islam Monu and his well-wishers observed sit-in program at Jatrabari area. 45-No ward Jubo League president Sheikh Moniruzzaman Robin brought out a protest procession in city's Jatrabari area.

Protest processions and rallies were also brought out in the city's different areas, including Gabtoli, Azimpur, Shahbagh, Mirpur, Darussalam and Mohammadpur, Demra, Jatrabari, Kadamtali, Farmgate, Mirpur.
