CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Aug 28, 2023 (BSS) - Four patients with chronic diseases in the district received Taka two lakh as financial assistant from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina here today.
 
Lawmaker of women reserved seat in Chapainawabganj Ferdousi Islam Jesi distributed the cheques among the patients as the chief guest at a function held at the district office of Awami League.
 
Senior vice president of the district unit of Awami League and Zila parishad chairman Bir Muktijoddha Md. Ruhul Amin, vice president Dr. Golam Rabbani, former director of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute Saiful Islam and president of the district Women Awami League Sakina Khatun Parul were present at the function, among others.
 
Each of the patients got Taka 50,000.
