DHAKA, June 7, 2023 (BSS) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of valiant freedom fighter police officer and witness of Bangabandhu murder case Nurul Islam Khan.

He was shot in front of the residence of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi-32 on August 15, 1975.

In a condolence message, the Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
