CHATTOGRAM, May 15, 2023 (BSS)-Operational activities at Shah Amanat International Airport and Chattogram Sea Port have become normal from this morning.

The regular flight operations have already been started at Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport from this morning as the effects of the Cyclone Mocha passed last night.

Captain Taslim Ahmed, Director of the airport said regular flight operations were started at 6 am this morning from Shah Amanat International Airport.

Earlier, the airport authority suspended flight operations at Shah Amanat International Airport from 6 am on May 13 due to inclement weather caused by Cyclone Mocha, after Bangladesh Meteorological Department issued No 8 disaster signal in Chattogram.

Meanwhile, the operational activities of Chattogram Sea Port were suspended due to fear of damage from Cyclone Mocha on the night of May 12 as the Met Office asked Chattogram port to hoist local cautionary signal number 3.
 
Omar Faruk, Secretary of the Chattogram Sea Port said, all kinds of operational activities of the port became normal from 6 am today.
