DHAKA, April 11, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said puppet dance is going on in BNP politics on foreign strings.
 
"In Bangladesh, BNP dances on the strings of foreign masters," he told a distribution function of Ifter and Eid gift at Gulshan in the city.

Dhaka City North unit of Awami League organized the distribution function.

"Where does BNP get so much money? They (BNP) want to kill Sheikh Hasina to foil the next general election. Foreign masters pulled strings to remove Awami League from power," he said.

"Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is a puppet. He is so scared of Tarique Zia." Quader said adding" Every now then he got admission to hospital. Actually, he (Fakhrul) goes to hospital after getting threat of Tarique Zia," the AL General Secretary said.

 "We are alert...we know what BNP wants," he said, adding that they (BNP) want to oust the government by illegal ways."
 
"People of Bangladesh are with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. So, the dream of BNP to oust the government will be evaporated," he added.
 
Criticizing the democracy of the USA, Qader said former President of USA Donald Trump made complain of vote rigging and he still does not accept result of polls.
 
"They (USA) preach us about democracy. They talk about democracy. But what is the state of their country?"

In the USA, two black lawmakers were unseated, Quader said adding "Another lawmaker escape for same offence as he was white. This is their democracy."
