RAJSHAHI, Jan 5, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH)
recorded four more deaths in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till
6am today.

    RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said three of the deceased
were the residents of Rajshahi, while another from Natore. One of them died
with Covid-19 infection, while three others with its symptoms.

     Meanwhile, six more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during
the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 24, including
eight tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

     Two other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

     On the other hand, eighteen more patients were found Covid-19 positive
after testing 157 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Tuesday, showing
an 11.46 percent infection rate in Rajshahi.
