PABNA, Jan 17, 2024 (BSS) - President Mohammed Shahabuddin offered doa at the graves of his parents and other family members at 'Pabna Sadar Graveyard' in Arifpur here today, on the second day of his visit to his hometown Pabna.

The President, during the munajat, sought the eternal peace of the departed souls of his family members, including parents - Sharifuddin Ansari and Khairunnessa.

President's spouse Dr. Rebecca Sultana, brothers Shamim Akter Tunu, Abu Saeed and some other family members were present during munajat at the graveyard.

The Head of the State came to his native town of the Pabna district on a four-day visit on Tuesday afternoon. This is the third visit of him to Pabna after assuming the office.

He was supposed to arrive in the capital city on Monday (January 15), but the tour was canceled due to inclement weather.
