DHAKA, Sept 1, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader toady said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the architect of Bangladesh's transformation and she can open the door of possibility amid any crisis.
"Bangabandhu's daughter is the sun of our Eastern world and the architect of Bangladesh's transformation. She can open the door of possibility amid any crisis. She sang the song of victory standing at the procession of death. She raised the flag of creation standing on ruins," he told a rally here this afternoon.
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) arranged the rally at historical Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital in commemoration of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nesa Mujib.
AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina spoke at the rally as the chief guest with BCL president Saddam Hossain in the chair. BCL general secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan moderated the rally.
Lauding the leadership of AL President Sheikh Hasina, Quader said the incumbent Prime Minister is the most popular leader of Bangladesh in the last 48 years and she is the most honest and efficient administrator, the most efficient diplomat and the most courageous politician too.
Pointing out that no popular leader like Sheikh Hasina emerged in the country in the last 48 years, he said she is the most honest politician, most efficient administrator and most successful diplomat in the last 48 years.
The AL general secretary said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is still the Himalaya to the young generation even 48 years after his departure.
"As long as the sun of Bangla rises, the birds sing, rivers murmur and the chirping of birds continue, you (Bangabandhu) will remain in this golden Bangla...your bravery cannot be erased from the soil of this Bangla," he added.
