DHAKA, Feb 20, 2023 (BSS) - French Ambassador in Dhaka Marie Masdupuy paid a courtesy call on Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader at his Secretariat office here today.

During the meeting, they discussed the existing friendly relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries.

The French envoy requested the Bangladesh minister to unveil the Bangla version of a book written in French by historian Sainte Charen on the 50th anniversary of the visit of French writer and former cultural affairs minister Andre Malraux to Bangladesh.

Andre Malraux shaped public opinion in favour of Bangladesh during its Great War of Liberation.
