DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Kalim Uddin Ahmed has won from Sunamganj-5 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.
He bagged 151,915 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Abu Tahir Muhammad Abdus Salam obtained 102,121 votes.
In referendum, 147,924 people have cast 'Yes' votes and 76,530 others cast 'No' votes.
The results were announced unofficially at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
