DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Yeaser Khan Chowdhury has been elected unofficially from Mymensingh-9 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He secured 85,761 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Development Party candidate AKM Anowarul Islam received 71,168 votes.

In the referendum, 121,092 voters cast 'Yes' votes while 40,583 others cast 'No' votes in this constituency.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
