DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Barkat Ullah Bulu has been elected unofficially from Noakhali-3 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad Election.

He bagged 1,41,031 votes, while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Borhan Uddin got 1,23,941 votes.

In the referendum, 1,74,292 voters cast votes for 'Yes', while 88,163 others cast 'No' votes. 

The result was announced from the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
