DHAKA, Feb 8, 2026 (BSS) - The people of the country can receive necessary information and assistance related to the elections and lodge complaints, if they have, by calling through the newly launched hotline 'Nirbachan Bondhu Hotline- 333'.

The Chief Adviser's Press Wing shared a photo card today with a message, "Call through 'Nirbachan Bondhu Hotline- 333' if you have any urgent message, complaint, warning or suggestion regarding the election in your constituency."

Steps will be taken to address the issues urgently through this number, the photo card also says.

Earlier, on February 4, the government launched the special information service to provide citizens with verified election-related information ahead of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad Election and Referendum-2026.

The helpline service is expected to play an effective role in preventing confusion, rumours and misinformation related to the elections and contribute to ensuring a transparent, peaceful and participatory polling process.
