KUSHTIA, Jan 21, 2026 (BSS) - Symbols have been officially allocated to 
candidates contesting in four parliamentary constituencies here ahead of the 
13th National Parliamentary Elections 2026.

District Returning Officer (DRO) and Deputy Commissioner Md. Iqbal Hossain 
handed over the symbols to a total of 25 candidates at a ceremony held in the 
conference room of the District Returning Officer at 11 am today.

Speaking on the occasion, DRO Iqbal Hossain emphasized the importance of 
adhering to the election code of conduct and urged all candidates to conduct 
their campaigns fairly and responsibly. He also cautioned that strict legal 
action would be taken against anyone found violating the code.

Senior officials from the District Election Office and local administration 
were present during the event.
