KHULNA, Aug 8, 2026 (BSS) - The full 33-member Khulna city committee of Zia Shishu-Kishore Sangathan has been announced with an aim to make the organisation's activities more dynamic, stronger and grassroots-oriented.

The committee was approved by the organisation's central committee.

Niaz Ahmed Tuhin has been made president while Md Delwar Hossain general secretary of the new committee.

The other office-bearers are AKM Shafiqul Hossain, Sheikh Mohammad Mahbubul Alam, SM Abu Said, Banani Sultana Jhumu, AAK Alamgir, Khairul Alam and Kausari Jahan Manju as vice-presidents.

SM Raihan Alamgir, Nurun Nahar Nazmun Nessa Jeba, Fakhrul Islam Shiblu and Gazi Hasan Rumi were made joint general secretaries.

Ashraful Rahman Milon was made organising secretary, while Md Mizanur Rahman assistant organising secretary.

Md Sohel Hossain was named treasurer and Md Farhad Hossain office secretary. Saikat Md Sohag was made publicity secretary and Farida Parvin Poly women's affairs secretary.

Sheikh Zahid Hossain was named cultural affairs secretary and Md Yunus Mia sports secretary. Farhana Binte Hasan was made legal affairs secretary and Md Shoeb Khan education affairs secretary.

Enroz Khan Bahar was named information and research secretary, Shariful Islam art and fine affairs secretary and Mizanur Rahman Jewel literature affairs secretary.

The executive members are Adnan Hasan, Tanvir Moniruzzaman Manik, Md Mahbub Hossain, Mohammad Sabur, Sultan Mahmud Joni and Md Roni Sana.
