FENI, Aug 6, 2026 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized a large consignment of illegal Indian goods and narcotics worth approximately Taka 90 lakh during separate operations along the Feni border on Thursday.

According to BGB sources, the raids were conducted in the border areas of Parshuram, Fulgazi, and Chhagalnaiya. The seized items included Indian cannabis, sunglasses, sarees, three-piece dresses, medicines, cosmetics, chocolates and biscuits.

Commanding Officer of the BGB-4 Feni Battalion Lieutenant Colonel M. M. Zillur Rahman said the force continues to maintain maximum vigilance through operational activities and intelligence efforts to prevent drug trafficking and smuggling, ensure border security.
