RANGPUR, July 7, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 seized 970 pieces of smuggled Tapentadol tablets and arrested an alleged drug dealer from Samerdanga village under Boda police station in Panchagarh district on Monday night.

 On a tip-off, a team from the RAB-13's Nilphamari Camp conducted a raid in the village, seized the contraband drugs, Taka 19,800 for drug dealing and one mobile phone set and arrested the drug peddler at 8:30 pm, a press release this afternoon. 

 The arrestee is Md Ansar Ali, 45, son of late Pashan Ali of village Samerdanga under Boda police station in Panchagarh.

After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the seized drugs and the arrested person to Boda police station for further legal action, the release added.
