RAJSHAHI, July 6, 2026 (BSS)- A meeting between Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Commissioner Mohammad Fayzul Kabir and the leaders of the third gender 
community organisation, Diner Alo Hijra Sangha-Rajshahi, was held today at the conference room of the RMP headquarters.

The meeting, chaired by the RMP Commissioner, focused on issues concerning the third gender community. The leaders expressed satisfaction with the 
prevailing law and order situation but pointed out obstacles hindering their participation in business and trade.

The RMP Commissioner listened to the community leaders' concerns and suggestions with attention. He said the third gender community is an integral 
part of society and assured them of the police's continued support in ensuring their safety, dignity and rights.

He also called for collective efforts to build a safe and discrimination-free society.

Among others, Additional Police Commissioner Faruk Hossain, Deputy Police Commissioner Khorshed Alam, and Deputy Police Commissioner (CTTC) Gaziur Rahman were also present at the meeting.
