She stressed that collective efforts, particularly in collaboration with the Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB), are essential for sustainable rural development.
Highlighting the government's nationwide tree plantation initiative, the Deputy Commissioner said it is indirectly linked to rural development and environmental sustainability.
Addressing the recipients of the loan cheques, she encouraged them to invest the funds in small-scale farms or businesses to become self-reliant, thereby contributing to both their own economic progress and the development of rural communities.
Chaired by BRDB Khulna Deputy Director Md. NasirUddin, the meeting was addressed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Bitan Kumar Mondal as a special guest.
The programme was jointly organized by the Khulna District Administration and the Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB).
