RANGPUR, July 5, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 seized 730 pieces of contraband Tapentadol tablets and arrested an alleged drug dealer from his house in Purba Sadipur village under Kaharol police station of Dinajpur on Saturday evening.

On a tip-off, a team from the RAB-13's Nilphamari Camp conducted a raid in the village, seized the contraband drugs and Taka 30,600 in cash for drug dealing and arrested the man at 6 pm, said a RAB press release. 

The arrestee is Md Sohel Rana, 29, son of Md Jinnat Ali of village Purba Sadipur under Kaharol police station of Dinajpur district.

After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the seized drugs and arrested persons to Kaharol police station of Dinajpur for further legal action, the release added.
