MANIKGANJ, July 4, 2026 (BSS) - A three-day programme marking Nazrul Year 2026-2027 concluded in Manikganj on Saturday with a musical soir‚e and prize-giving ceremony at the District Shilpakala Academy.

The event was organised by the Manikganj district administration in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana distributed prizes among the winners of various competitions. 

Artists from Manikganj and Dhaka performed songs by National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and other musical pieces at the closing ceremony.

The three-day programme began on July 2.
