RAJSHAHI, June 15, 2026 (BSS) - Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton has directed all concerned to further strengthen citizen services at the ward level.

He made the call while addressing an exchange meeting organized by the Ward Secretaries Association of Rajshahi City Corporation at a restaurant conference room in the city on Sunday evening.

The RCC administrator stressed improving service quality, ensuring timely and effective services at people's doorsteps, and enhancing responsibility and coordination in public service delivery. He also urged officials to carry out tree plantation programmes in every ward.

Among others, Ward Secretaries Association President Ahad Ali and General Secretary Jubayer Hossain attended the meeting along with secretaries of all 30 wards of the city corporation.

The ward secretaries shared their views and recommendations on making citizen services more dynamic, efficient and people-oriented.

Riton urged all concerned to discharge their duties with sincerity, transparency and accountability to meet the expectations of city residents.
