KHULNA, June 13, 2026 (BSS) - Leaders of the Khulna City BNP have congratulated Khulna-3 lawmaker and National Parliament Whip Rakibul Islam Bakul on his election as the No. 1 Vice-President of the Executive Committee of the Parliament Members' Club.

In a joint statement issued to the media, BNP leaders extended their greetings and best wishes to Bakul, expressing hope that he would successfully carry out his new responsibilities.

The statement said people in Khulna were delighted and proud of his election, describing it as a reflection of his competence, leadership qualities and long political experience.

The leaders expressed confidence that, in addition to his duties as parliamentary whip, Bakul would play an important role in safeguarding the interests of lawmakers and strengthening parliamentary democracy through his new position.

They further noted that under the leadership of the young and visionary politician, development initiatives in the Khulna-3 constituency and surrounding areas would gain renewed momentum.
