CHATTOGRAM, April 5, 2026 (BSS) - Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested Mohammad Rubel  from at Pologround Railway Colony in the city's Kotwali thana area and seized 744 cans of beer from his possession.
 
Police arrested Rubel from the area in front of the Shaheed warehouse under the Dewanhat Bridge Saturday night.

Deputy Police Commissioner of Detective Branch (West) Mahbub Alam Khan said during the interrogation Rubel said he used to buy the beer at a lower price in Chattogram and sell it at a higher price in Cox's Bazar. 

A case has been filed against Rubel at the Kotwali police station in this connection.
