FENI, Jan 31, 2026 (BSS) - A photo exhibition highlighting the eventful life of late BNP Chairperson and former three-time Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia was held today at the Feni Central Shaheed Minar.
Bogura Media and Cultural Society, Dhaka arranged the exhibition with overall cooperation from the Feni District Chhatra Dal.
Professor Zainal Abedin VP, BNP candidate for the Feni-2 constituency, joined the programme as the chief guest.
Joint Convener of the District BNP Gazi Habib Ullah Manik, Member Secretary of Sadar Upazila Aman Uddin Kaiser Sabbir, Convener of the District Jubo Dal Nasir Uddin Khondkar, former District Chhatra Dal Presidents Ataul Haque Ashru and Kamrul Hasan Masud; President of the District Swechchhasebak Dal Saidur Rahman Jewel and its General Secretary SM Kaiser Elin, among others, also spoke.
District Chhatra Dal President Salah Uddin Mamun chaired the event which was conducted by General Secretary Morshed Alam Milon.
Arannya Pasha, Executive Member of the Bogura Media and Cultural Society, delivered the welcome address.
Speaking on the occasion, Zainal Abedin said late Begum Zia was an extraordinary and illustrious woman of the century.
Her work, leadership qualities, and uncompromising determination have repeatedly shown path to the nation, he said.
Arannya Pasha said that, in the first phase, the Bogura Media and Cultural Society has organized this photo exhibition in 12 districts connected to Begum Khaleda Zia's life.
Exhibitions have already been held in Dhaka, Dinajpur, Barishal, Rangpur, and Khulna.
After the Sylhet and Bogura phases, the exhibitions will be held in Mymensingh, Chattogram, Rajshahi, and Cox's Bazar.
The main objective of the exhibition is to present the life, struggles, and political contributions of national leader Begum Khaleda Zia to the new generation.
Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated and associate organizations at various levels, along with a large number of visitors, visited the exhibition.
A condolence book was opened at the exhibition premises.
The exhibition showcased various chapters of Begum Khaleda Zia's long and eventful life and political journey-from an ordinary housewife to entering politics and serving as Prime Minister three times.
In addition, more than a hundred rare photographs from different periods of her family and political life were displayed, along with screening a special documentary based on her life and political struggles.
