RANGAMATI, Jan 29, 2026 (BSS) - BNP-nominated candidate for Rangamati parliamentary constituency (No. 299) Dipen Dewan today held an election rally at the Bhasanyadam Union Parishad premises in Langadu Upazila of the district.

Dipen Dewan, BNP Central Joint Secretary for Religious Affairs, attended the programme as the chief guest. Bhasanyadam Union BNP unit organized the rally. 

District BNP President Dipan Talukder Dipu, General Secretary Mamunur Rashid Mamun, Vice President and Convener of the Election Management Committee Saiful Islam Chowdhury Bhutto, Organizing Secretary Saiful Islam Shakil, Longadu Upazila BNP President Tofazzal Hossain, District BNP Joint Secretary Abdul Barek Dewan, along with leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliate organizations from the district and upazila, were present at the meeting.

Addressing the gathering, Dipen Dewan said BNP would work to establish a people-oriented government if elected. He assured that there would be no discrimination or division in the Chittagong Hill Tracts and pledged to ensure equal development for all communities in the hilly region.

He urged voters to cast their ballots in favour of the BNP candidate, using the party's electoral symbol Sheaf of Paddy, in the upcoming February 12 election.
